Our History
Drs Brown and Giosa formed Pulmonary Associates in 2000 when they merged their solo practices based at Bradley Memorial and MidState respectively. Dr. Nair joined in 2001 coming from Bridgport Hospital where he was practicing Pulmonary and Critical Care. In 2009 Pulmonary Associates was asked to manage the Intensive Care Unit at MidState and Dr. Hemdan was added as the Director of Critical Care coming from Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center in New York. At present we provide care at MidState Medical Center, Bradley Campus of Hospital of Central Connecticut, Masonic Health Care Center, Gaylord Hospital, Village Green of Wallingford, Highland Health Care of Cheshire, and Southington Care Center. We are the major pulmonary specialists of Meriden, Southington, Wallingford, Cheshire ,and beyond.
